Wayne A. Tuck, CPA/Partner

Prior to joining Walker & Associates in July 2008, Wayne held several accounting and management positions with businesses in diverse fields, including a well-known global automotive finance corporation, an accounts receivable management and call center service company and a large privately held travel management company. Wayne has extensive experience in payroll, employee benefits, cash management, revenue recognition, budgeting, contract negotiation and audits of governmental and nonprofit entities. To date, Wayne has over 15 years of combined corporate and public accounting experience.

Wayne holds an Associate of Arts in business administration from Gainesville State College and a bachelor’s of business administration in accounting from the University of Georgia. Wayne is a member of the AICPA, the Georgia Society of CPAs, Georgia Governmental Officers Association and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.

Wayne and his wife, Hope, live with their two young daughters in Flowery Branch, Georgia.

Wayne A. Tuck, CPA/Partner at Walker & Associates CPA’s, P.C. of Gainesville has been awarded the Certified Fraud Examiner credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
To become a Certified Fraud Examiner, Tuck has met a stringent set of criteria and passed a rigorous exam administered by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and leading provider of anti-fraud training and education. Tuck has successfully met the association’s character, experience and education requirements.
Tuck adds this credential to more than 11 years of combined experience in corporate and public accounting.  He has extensive experience in employee benefits, budgeting, contract negotiation and audits of governmental and non-profit entities.  As a Certified Fraud Examiner, he has the ability to examine data and records to detect and trace fraudulent transactions; interview suspects to obtain information and confessions; write investigation reports; advise clients as to their findings; testify at trial; understand the law as it relates to fraud and fraud investigations; and identify the underlying factors that motivate individuals to commit fraud.
